I was interested to hear that the institute is pushing to promote actuaries in a wider range of industries, such as data analytics and banking. The implementation of new modules in their Part 3 pathway is also an important development that allows actuaries to specialise in more areas. I was also intrigued by the fact that some of these modules are being developed together with other actuarial institutes all around the world.
