Why Get Involved in Pre-Professional Programs?
Pre-professional programs are a great way to kick start your actuarial career and can often be as important as your degree itself. There are a number of companies in Perth who show great interest in Actuarial Science students.
If you are in your pre-penultimate/third last (typically first year) of your degree these programs give you the opportunity to learn more about the company, interact with current people in graduate roles and network with fellow prospective employees.
These programs are often a useful platform for vacation work applications and give students experience with the application process. The starred (*) programs indicate programs that have previously given attendees fast-tracked interviews for internships/vacation work.
