This year, SAS held their annual BBQ on the 16th of March where us first years had the opportunity to mingle and introduce ourselves to the more experienced second and third year Actuarial Science students. This opportunity proved to be very effective as it gave us insight into what it’s like to be studying Actuarial Science and an understanding of what is to come in future years. It was an enjoyable day that I found very beneficial and as such a very good introduction to SAS and I look forward to future events.
