The SAS Barbeque marks the first Student Actuarial Society event of 2018. Held on Wednesday 21st March, the barbecue welcomed the new first year students and gave the entire Actuarial Science cohort a chance to get to know each other. Many students across first, second and third year were in attendance and enjoyed the sausages and drinks organised by the members of the SAS Committee.
The event was a hit – particularly with the first years, who spent their time introducing themselves to their fellow first years and listening to valuable advice from the second and third years.
Thank you to the SAS Committee for organising the event and to everyone that attended. We have more events planned throughout the year and we can’t wait to see everyone there!
