The SAS held its inaugural Industry Night on 16th August and the event was a huge success. The SAS welcomed representatives from the financial, professional services, insurance, data analytics and banking industries to give some insight into their current positions and their role in industry.
A large turnout of actuarial science students from all years relished the opportunity to network and hear some stories of past students and how they have launched their careers. Thank you to everyone who helped make this night a success; it wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of the SAS committee and the passion our students have for actuarial science.
