On Friday, October 26th at Manning Bowling club the SAS held its annual Poker Night to great success. The final SAS event of the year featured a large turnout of both fellow actuarial, and non-actuarial students.
It was a wonderful seeing all students looking their absolute best. The men were all dressed sharp and with a style that would make James Bond jealous. While the ladies looked like they had just walked straight off a movie set.
The event was a great opportunity for students to socialise and relax with both old, and new friends made on the night, right before the arduous upcoming exam period. It was great sight to see people smiling, laughing and enjoying themselves as they took part in games of Poker, Black Jack, Roulette, two up and Casino Wars. A special mention must go out to Mr Lawrence Tonzing who was crowned the winner of this years Poker Night.
The committee would finally like to thank everyone that attended any SAS event this year, without you, none of this would be possible and we look forwards to seeing you all at our upcoming events in 2019.
