Pathway to Fellowship:

To become a Fellow (FIAA), members need to complete:

  1. Part I (Bachelor's Degree);

  2. Part II (Honours Year), comprising:

    • Part IIA - The Actuarial Control Cycle, and

    • Part IIB - Investment and Asset Modelling;

  3. Part III; and

  4. the Professionalism Course.

Pathway to Associateship:

To become an Associate (AIAA), members need to complete:

  1. Part I;

  2. Part II, comprising:

    • Part IIA - The Actuarial Control Cycle, and

    • Part IIB - Investment and Asset Modelling;

  3. Three-year Practical Experience Requirement (PER); and

  4. Professionalism Course.
